Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) has announced the establishment of the Eugene Ward Memorial Scholarship, honoring the life and legacy of distinguished alumnus Gene Ward. The scholarship, which will be awarded annually, initiated by a generous gift from his wife, Grammy Award-winning artist and Grand Ole Opry legend Jeannie Seely Ward, will support LMU students who are working their way through school, carrying forward Ward’s legacy of service, leadership, and academic excellence.
