Inspiring learners and leaders

Our classrooms are filled with students who approach their studies with a genuine desire to learn. The universal support and enthusiasm among faculty, staff and parents/guardians creates an environment that encourages academic excellence. We believe high standards for character will lead students to embrace challenges in and out of the classroom and, ultimately, to succeed. Our goal is to foster honor, respect, and compassion in each student and provide them with an exceptional learning environment to prepare them for further education. Our graduates are ready to go into post-secondary education with the confidence to thrive, the tools for life-long learning, and the conviction to make a positive impact.

Safety by Choice, Not by Chance

At J. Frank White Academy, the safety of our students and school community is a top priority that isn't left to chance. Here are a few ways JFWA prioritizes safety:

  • JFWA & LMU have their own police force: the LMU Campus Police & Security. Half of the officers are deputized with Claiborne County.
  • Security monitors JFWA entrances/exits during drop-off and pick-up times.
  • For any movement of JFWA students outside the building that houses their classroom, campus security watches and stops traffic if applicable.
  • The numerous security cameras on campus are monitored in-house by Campus security.
  • All JFWA buildings are authorized key card entries only and require admission by the respective offices.
  • Student Information Forms are filled out each year alerting administration about authorized pick-up information for each student. A student will not leave if an unlisted person arrives for pick-up.
