So, what sets our program apart from veterinary programs at other institutions? By accepting students in both the spring and fall, the LMU-CVM is the largest college of veterinary medicine in the country. We accept 100 students for our spring semesters and 125 students for our fall semesters. However, we take pride in our smaller laboratory group sizes so that we can ensure you receive a hands-on teaching experience in a nurturing learning environment. At LMU, we've designed our innovative program to function without a teaching hospital and instead give you the opportunity to learn through real-world experiences during your time with us.
Review the requirements listed below to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria for admission into our program.
To qualify, you must have at least 46 semesters or 66 quarter units from a regionally accredited college or university.
Your GRE scores are not required and will not be considered. Alternatively, LMU-CVM requires the Casper Assessment.
*If you intend to practice in the state of New York, you must have at least 60 semester units, and a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.8 in all coursework as calculated by VMCAS.
