All applications to the Doctor of Jurisprudence program are reviewed by an admissions committee made up of members from our LMU Law faculty. To qualify for our program, you must submit the following items:
To be considered for entry into the JD program at LMU, your application must be completed. We recommend you submit your application the summer before the last year of your undergraduate education.
The deadline for our full-time program is July 1st, though the priority consideration deadline is March 15th.

After graduating from our school of law, you'll have access to a robust job market right here in Knoxville, as well as in the surrounding counties and regions. Past graduates from our program have found job opportunities in small and large law firms, district attorney and public defenders' offices, and even in specialized roles within the Department of Justice and The Tennessee Valley Authority. Some have even used their degrees in leadership roles working for corporations or businesses.
