Our Mission

The ORGSP is dedicated to providing the supportive infrastructure needed to increase the overall number and types of externally funded grants and ensure the proper management and oversight of new and established awards that fully represent the mission statement and historical integrity of Lincoln Memorial University.

Research Priority Areas

In 2025-2026, the Committee on Scholarly Activities, in collaboration with faculty across the University, identified eight Research Priority Areas to focus institutional research development: Underserved Communities, One Health, Translational Research, Workforce Development, Social Policy, Pedagogy and Professional Practice, Substance Use Impacts, and Chronic Disease. LMU uses these RPAs to organize scholarly activity, encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration, guide resource development, and support both applied and foundational research. LMU Research Priority Areas:Underserved Communities, One Health, Translational Research, Workforce Development, Social Policy, Pedagogy and Professional Practice, Substance Use Impacts, and Chronic Disease.
