Through the use of simulated trainers, you will practice procedural skills like intravenous catheter insertion, airway management, laceration repair, and abscess incision and drainage. In addition to your education, you will receive a unique opportunity to participate in various volunteer experiences, providing medical services to uninsured individuals in need. You will also have access to various features and resources, such as our cadaver lab, mannikins, simulation labs, and Objective-Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) suites.
The LMU-SMS PA-Harrogate program is a full-time graduate-level program lasting 27 months. Once you have successfully completed minimum competency and all other degree requirements, you will earn a Master of Medical Science (MMS) degree. The program's curriculum is divided into a 14-month didactic, preclinical, and 13-month clinical phase. While clinical rotations are primarily located in the southeastern United States, other U.S. locations are also available.
