Lincoln Memorial University Research Day 2024 will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Richard A. Gillespie College of Veterinary Medicine. Faculty, staff, undergraduate, and graduate students in any discipline are invited to participate through oral or poster presentation.

​The eighth annual Lincoln Memorial University Research Day included oral and poster presentations from over one hundred and fifty undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff. Frequently Asked Questions

  •   When is the due date for abstracts?
    March 15,2024, is the due date for abstract submissions.
  •   How long should abstracts be?
    200 words maximum.
  •   How long should oral presentations be?
    Oral presentations should be no longer than 12 minutes, three (3) minutes will be allowed for questions for a total of 15 minutes per oral presentation.
  •   What size should posters be?
    Posters should be no larger than 36” x 48”. An easel and clips will be provided the day of the event. If you need an LMU-branded template, email natalie.sweet@lmunet.edu for assistance.
  •   When will I be notified if I am selected?
    All presenters will be notified by March 22, 2024. Instructions will be provided at that time on how to upload your digital oral presentation slides or your digital poster file.
  •   When should I submit a digital file of my slides for my oral presentation?
    April 5, 2024.
  •   When should I submit a digital poster file?
    April 5, 2024
  •   What resources can I use to complete my research?
