      After-hours calls to the LMU Office of Mental Health Counseling are forwarded to a call center staffed with professional mental health counselors who will assist callers. This service is also available at any time during the weekend, holidays, and when the campus is closed for inclement weather.

  • Partnership for Families, Children and Adults offers counseling, advocacy, and forensic exams in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Partnership for Families, Children and Adults offers access to forensic medical exams and a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE).

National Resources

  • StudentLife by Empathia - StudentLIfe is a counseling service made available to all LMU students regardless of campus location. This service provides assistance with stress and anxiety concerns, school performance issues, as well as financial challenges. Students can contact StudentLife at 1-855-695-2818.
  • MyPlan App is a free app to help you with safety decisions and to connect you to resources if you, or someone you care about, is experiencing abuse in their relationship.
  • Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) operates a National Sexual Assault Hotline
