Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) is pleased to announce a partnership with Union Commonwealth University that creates a conditional guaranteed interview pathway for students seeking a career in osteopathic medicine. This collaboration aims to provide highly motivated students with a structured and supportive route to medical school.
Union Commonwealth University’s strong emphasis on research, critical thinking,and interdisciplinary learning aligns well with LMU-DCOM’s mission to prepare future osteopathic physicians. Students who meet academic requirements—including a competitive GPA, MCAT score and completion of key prerequisite courses—will be eligible for a guaranteed interview with LMU-DCOM’s admissions committee.
This initiative also encourages students to gain hands-on experience in health care, participate in medical shadowing opportunities and deepen their understanding of osteopathic principles. While the interview is guaranteed for qualified applicants, final admission remains competitive and is based on overall qualifications and performance.
