The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) School of Business is set to host the inaugural Advances in Business Education (ABE) Conference on May 16, 2025, at the LMU main campus in Harrogate.
The conference, themed “Promoting Teaching Excellence Through Innovation and Collaboration,” is dedicated to enhancing teaching practices in business education and demonstrates LMU’s commitment to providing quality educational experiences in the Appalachian region.
The ABE Conference will feature three primary presentation tracks, welcoming proposals from faculty and students alike:
All submissions will be reviewed by a peer committee, and accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings.
“Through this conference, LMU aims to create a collaborative environment where educators and students can share valuable insights, promote teaching excellence, and foster innovation in business education,” said Dr. Kelsey Metz, dean of the School of Business. “By focusing on educational access and quality, particularly in Appalachia, LMU continues to drive positive regional development through academic excellence.”
The ABE Conference represents an opportunity for educators, researchers, and students to contribute to the future of business education and to work collaboratively toward elevating academic standards within the field.
