The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) School of Business has appointed Bob Thomas as assistant professor of accounting. He will be teaching undergraduate accounting courses and assisting in research.
Thomas holds a PhD in business administration from Texas Tech University and a double major Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and business computer information systems from Midwestern State University.
A certified public accountant (CPA) with a background in academia, Thomas has held positions at Midwestern State University, West Texas A&M University, and Dallas College. He has been instrumental in redesigning courses and introducing innovative teaching methods, including hybrid and online courses. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Thomas has a record of published research.
"Dr. Bob Thomas brings a wealth of academic and higher education administration experience to our accounting program," said Dr. Kelsey Metz, Dean of the LMU School of Business. "His expertise in course design and teaching methods will be invaluable as we continue to enhance the educational experiences of our students. We are excited to welcome him to the LMU community."
