The Lincoln Memorial Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program (LMU-OTD) is proud to announce that Crystal Henley, OTR/L, will be the commencement speaker for the inaugural graduating class of 2024.
Henley, who has been practicing occupational therapy since January 2004, owns Sensory Puzzles, Inc., based in Knoxville, Tennessee. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, graduating magna cum laude in 2003.
She has expertise in treating a diverse range of clients, including outpatient pediatric cases, and both inpatient and outpatient adult clients with neurological and orthopedic conditions. Additionally, she has experience in managing pediatric and adult burn and wound care patients.
Henley has pursued additional education in several areas, including brain gym techniques, handwriting, the use of Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) with infants, and treatments for torticollis. Furthermore, she holds certifications in the Interactive Metronome and the Wilbarger Thera-pressure Technique.
The commencement ceremony for the more than 50 graduates in the LMU-OTD Program will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium beginning at 4:00 p.m.
