NURS Courses
Commencing in August 2010 at the Cedar Bluff site, CSON's began the Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) Option. This unique, accelerated 17-month option will provide students the opportunity to obtain their nursing education in four sequential semesters (Fall I, Spring, Summer, Fall II), enabling them to enter the workforce a minimum of six months earlier than traditional programs. By serving a tri-state region in Appalachia, the Caylor School of Nursing will fulfill its mission to provide highly qualified professional nurses to meet the health care needs and disparities of surrounding communities.
In the Fall of 2013, The Caylor School of Nursing (CSON) at Lincoln Memorial University received approval to expand its offerings on the LMU main campus in Harrogate, Tenn., to include the generic BSN program. This traditional BSN program will provide students the opportunity to obtain their nursing education in four semesters. (Fall I, Spring I, Fall II, Spring II)
In 2017, Florida Hospital (now known as AdventHealth) and Lincoln Memorial University partnered to create an extended learning site for the LMU-Caylor School of Nursing in Tampa, FL. This partnership will establish synergy for continuous quality improvement in both education and the practice of nursing. Located at AdventHealth Tampa Health park facility, the BSN in Tampa is an accelerated 17-month, four sequential semesters (Fall I, Spring, Summer, Fall II) option.
