Ms. Newhart started her position as Administrative Assistant to the President in December of 2022.
Breanna was born and raised in Citrus County, Florida. In 2020, she graduated from both Citrus High School and Withlacoochee Technical College. During her senior year of high school, Breanna became a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant; after graduation, she participated in multiple internships as she began her career in the medical field. Since beginning that work, she has taken many road trips, one of which spanned from Central Florida to Oregon. Along the way, Ms. Newhart picked up a certification in welding and fabrication in 2022.
Ms. Newhart and her fiancé live in Harrogate, Tennessee, where they enjoy the Appalachian Mountains and all they offer.
Andrea Shipley began working at LMU in September 2020 as the Administrative Assistant for Academic Affairs. In 2021, she went on to become the Executive Assistant for Academic Affairs. In November of 2022, Ms. Shipley assumed her present role as Executive Assistant to the President.
Ms. Shipley is originally from Utah, where she owned her own preschool for 11 years before working in the public school system and eventually as an office manager for a family law firm. She moved to Claiborne County in 2020 with her husband who is originally from Church Hill, Tennessee. They have two sons and one daughter.
Rachel Worley serves as the Director of Communications for the President's Office. Ms. Worley joined Lincoln Memorial University in October 2024 with more than a decade of expertise in communications, public relations, and broadcast media.
Ms. Worley previously led PR and communications efforts for national brands including JTV (Jewelry Television), Altar'd State, and PetSafe. Her experience also includes agency work, where she managed PR strategies for clients in healthcare, education, and tourism, as well as a career in journalism at local news outlets across East Tennessee.
Ms. Worley earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Information from the University of Tennessee. She resides in Knoxville with her husband and daughter.
