Harrogate City Park Set to Reopen Friday
Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) will reopen the Harrogate City Park on Friday, May 22. The park will be open under strict social distancing and Center for Disease Control (CDC) hygiene guidelines.
The University will provide enhanced safety and sanitation practices for the park restrooms and groups of more than 10 people are prohibited. Park visitors are required to keep six feet apart from other visitors and are encouraged to wear face coverings.
“The Harrogate City Park is a tremendous asset to this community, and we are excited to be able to welcome our larger community back under the appropriate social distancing practices,” LMU President Clayton Hess said. “The health and safety of our community remains our top priority when making decisions about reopening the University. We will continue to follow local, state and national guidelines as we move toward welcoming our students back to campus in fall.”
The splash pad will remain closed until Governor Bill Lee approves the reopening of pools and splash pads.
