Dr. Edward “Trey” Asbury, graduate coordinator and Master of Science in Psychology program director at the Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Paul V. Hamilton School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, recently presented on artificial intelligence (AI) in educational settings at the University of Gloucestershire and the University of Wolverhampton.
Asbury’s talk, "Embracing Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom," addressed how AI can enhance education through personalized learning, administrative efficiency, and student engagement. His work with CRUW includes published studies and a book chapter examining the digital divide and online behavior. Asbury also serves on the editorial board for the upcoming “International Encyclopedia of Cyberpsychology” publication.
"Dr. Asbury is an excellent instructor and researcher,” said Dr. Martin Sellers, Dean of the Paul V. Hamilton School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. “He is equipped with leadership skills and values not equaled by many. We are very proud of his accomplishments."
Asbury holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology from East Tennessee State University, and a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Texas Christian University.
