Dr. J. Michael Wieting, senior associate dean, professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation and professor of osteopathic manipulative medicine at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM), has been inducted into Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society.
Sigma Xi acknowledges excellence in scientific research and fosters a spirit of collaboration among researchers across various disciplines. Wieting’s nomination and subsequent invitation to join Sigma Xi reflect his exceptional work in osteopathic medicine. In his role as senior associate dean at LMU-DCOM, Wieting has been instrumental in fostering an environment that encourages scientific inquiry and collaboration among faculty and students. His contributions to the field have not only enhanced the academic reputation of LMU-DCOM but also positively impacted the broader medical community.
