Rollins Completes Senior Leadership Academy

Dr. Adam Rollins, dean of the Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) School of Mathematics and Sciences, has completed the Senior Leadership Academy (SLA), a yearlong program for higher-education administrators aspiring to cabinet-level positions. The SLA, run by the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) and the American Academic Leadership Institute (AALI), selects only 40 participants nationwide.

"I was excited to be selected for the Senior Leadership Academy, and once the experience began, I was blown away," said Rollins. "The program exceeded my expectations, allowing me to network and learn from talented leaders and experts in higher education. It helped me develop the critical skills needed to better serve LMU as a leader. I am grateful to LMU for supporting me in this program and to Dr. Jay Stubblefield for his commitment to serving as my mentor."

Rollins attended seminars led by higher education leaders, studied leadership theory, and developed a Professional Experience Plan (PEP) to address expertise gaps. He received mentorship from Dr. Jay Stubblefield, LMU’s executive vice president for academic affairs, and the SLA program director while participating in webinars, regional gatherings, book groups, and campus visits.
