LMU Announces Dr. Qi Wang as Interim Dean of College of Dental Medicine
Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) President Jason McConnell, DBA, announces the appointment of Qi Wang, DDS, as the interim dean of the Lincoln Memorial University-College of Dental Medicine (LMU-CDM). Wang, a distinguished dental practitioner with extensive experience in clinical practice, will assume this role effective May 28, 2024.
Wang brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of leadership to LMU. With years of experience in the dental field, Wang has played an active role in advancing the dental education of students at LMU-CDM. Prior to this appointment, Wang served as the associate dean for Academic Affairs at LMU-CDM, where she was pivotal in curriculum development and enhancing student support services. Dr. Wang is also currently serving as a clinical board examiner.

"Her commitment to academic excellence and her innovative approach to dental education make her the ideal leader for our dental program during this transitional period. We are confident that under her guidance, the college will continue to thrive and make significant contributions to the field of dental health."
Wang is a graduate of Creighton Dental School, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. She also completed a 2-year residency at the University of Missouri Kansas City where she received training in advanced general dentistry. Before coming to LMU, Wang had served in leadership roles in other dental schools and is an international speaker in Dental Implants.
