LMU Researchers Published in Anatomy Journal
Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) proudly announces the successful publication of a research article by Brittany Walters, MS, a recent graduate of the LMU-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) Master of Science program; Stan Kunigelis, PhD, LMU-DCOM professor of Physiology; and Laroy Brandt, PhD, professor of Biology and Conservation Biology in the LMU School of Mathematics and Sciences.
The study, titled "Exploring sensory fiber composition in the lateral and medial roots of the median nerve," was recently published in Translational Research in Anatomy. This collaborative effort represents a significant milestone in the field of anatomical research, shedding light on the sensory fiber composition in the human arm.
Walters, a former Master’s student at LMU, played a pivotal role in the research project, making a substantial contribution to the exploration of sensory fiber composition. Her dedication and expertise have been instrumental in advancing our understanding of this critical aspect of human anatomy.
In addition to her academic achievements, LMU is pleased to announce that Walters is now pursuing her PhD at the University of Louisville, furthering her commitment to excellence in anatomical research and education.
