J. Frank White Academy (JFWA) is excited to announce the opening of applications for the 2024-2025 academic year. LMU Executive Vice President for Administration Jody Goins, EdD, emphasized JFWA's commitment to an affordable private school education without compromising academic excellence.

"JFWA ensures a rigorous academic environment while keeping tuition reasonable,” Goins said. “Through world-class education and holistic development, we prepare students for success in college and beyond.”

A 9:1 student-teacher ratio and small class sizes allow for individualized attention that helps meet students' academic needs. As a result, JFWA has achieved 100% college placement since it began in 1989.

Each year, an average of 18 students travel internationally with JFWA to broaden their horizons. Since 2011, the destinations for educational travel have included Egland, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Italy, France, Greece, Spain, Peru and Costa Rica. While at home, every student is giving back to the community through 15-25 hours of community service each year.  The Academy boasts 90% participation in clubs, teams and other activities, and most Knights are involved in multiple extracurricular activities. In athletics alone, 80-85 percent of students in grades 2-12 are participating in athletic programs.

Included in tuition, upperclassmen may earn up to 30 hours of college credit, often taking classes alongside Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) students or at the designated Senior High School classrooms in Duke Hall of Citizenship. This partnership with LMU is uniquely designed to prepare students for the college experience. The LMU partnership also gives JFWA students the benefits of a safe campus and access to many of the University’s academic and athletic facilities for learning, studying, practicing and competing.

The tiered tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year includes lunch: Pre-K-3rd: $6,000; 4th-8th: $7,000 and 9th–12th: $8,000. Payment plans are available. Additional fees include textbook rental, technology, transportation, parking, graduation and after-school programs. Prospective students are encouraged to apply early for a place in JFWA: https://www.lmunet.edu/jfwa/index.html.
