Lincoln Memorial University-College of Dental Medicine (LMU-CDM) received recognition from the American Dental Association Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition (ADA CERP).
The ADA CERP application process evaluates continuing education providers for compliance with the ADA CERP Recognition Standards and Procedures. The initial recognition process can take seven to twelve months to complete. Achieving ADA CERP Recognition offers the LMU-CDM office of continuing education a way for dental professionals to select quality dental education.
According to the ADA CERP website, “CERP recognition from the ADA Commission for Continuing Education Providers is provided to those Continuing Education providers that meet the Commission Standards and helps dental professionals select quality CE with confidence. Additionally, ADA CERP recognitions provide dental regulatory agencies with a sound basis for uniform acceptance of CE credits required for maintenance of dental licensure.” https://ccepr.ada.org/
The LMU-CDM Office of Dental Education offers a variety of monthly continuing education classes that dental professionals can take advantage of. The mission of the office of dental education is to provide quality professional educational activities that are scientifically rigorous, balanced, objective, and unbiased, to assist all practicing dental health care professionals in the translation, diffusion, and application of evidence-based knowledge to improve patient safety and enhance clinical outcomes.
