Lincoln Memorial University-Richard A. Gillespie College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) student Courtney Wood, Class of 2023, has received the Oakwood Foundation/Foundation of the Horse Scholarship from the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP).
"The financial assistance The Oakwood Foundation and The Foundation of the Horse have provided will be a great help to me in paying for educational expenses and will allow me to concentrate more on my studies,” Wood said. “I am extremely thankful for their generosity and support. As a future veterinarian and fellow equine enthusiast, I aim to continue to work very hard and provide future mentorship to veterinary students as they navigate and flourish in their early careers."
