The Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) has granted initial accreditation to Lincoln Memorial University-College of Dental Medicine (LMU-CDM). The program located at the LMU Tower (1705 St. Mary Street) will welcome its inaugural class on September 12, 2022.

A literal who’s who of the equine industry has been named to serve as members of an advisory council to Lincoln Memorial University’s (LMU) Equine Veterinary Education Program (EVEP). The program, which was announced in July 2022, is unique as it will offer a two-and-a-half year Associate degree program followed by a four-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree program at LMU-College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM).
The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Women of Service (WOS) recently made a donation to Mission of Hope to support relief efforts for flood victims in Southeast Kentucky. Mission of Hope Executive Director Emmette Thompson stopped at LMU’s main campus in Harrogate on his way to the flood zone. LMU WOS members and LMU staff presented Thompson with the donation.

The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Women of Service (WOS) Fashion Show and Vendor Event is just around the corner. The event, set for Thursday, August 18, in Tex Turner Arena, will feature a separate vendor fair with extended hours, a buffet meal with a chocolate fountain, and fashions modeled on stage. All tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door. The vendor event, free and open to the public, will be set up in the upper concourse of Tex Turner Arena from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Vendors will include jewelry, home décor, beauty products, clothing, cookies, canned foods, Operation Christmas Child and more.
Dr. Crystal Hunnicutt, program director of Lincoln Memorial University-Caylor School of Nursing’s (LMU-CSON) nurse anesthesia concentration, recently presented at a national conference on a subject that is at the forefront of health care – mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Hunnicutt spoke to a group of providers at the Nurse Anesthesiology Faculty Associates (NAFA) conference at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
