How To Apply

Step 1: Complete the AACOMAS Application

LMU-DCOM uses the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service (AACOMAS), a convenient centralized online application service for accredited osteopathic medical schools. Through AACOMAS, you have the opportunity to file one electronic application. AACOMAS will then verify and distribute your information to each of the colleges designated in your application. For further questions or assistance, view application instructions or visit www.aacom.org.

Step 2: Complete the Supplemental Application for LMU-DCOM

Once we have received your AACOMAS application, we will send you a link to our supplemental application via email. Once you have completed the supplemental application, you will be required to pay the $50 LMU-DCOM supplemental institutional processing fee. If you are an LMU Master of Science student or qualify for an AACOMAS fee waiver, the $50 LMU-DCOM institutional processing fee will be waived.

Step 3: Submit Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) Scores

You must submit your official scores from the MCAT. These scores must be reported and verified on your AACOMAS application.

If you choose to use coursework completed outside the United States, you must submit your transcripts for evaluation to one of the following services:

All coursework must be designated as undergraduate, graduate, or professional and a course-by-course evaluation will be required. LMU-DCOM will honor foreign coursework evaluations, but only from the services mentioned above. Your evaluation must be included with the supplemental application.
