LMU-DCOM Building Access and Safety Information
The LMU-DCOM facilities in Harrogate, Knoxville, and the upcoming Orange Park location are secured through a comprehensive access control system. All faculty, staff, and student ID cards are programmed with permissions for entry into buildings, designated classrooms, and laboratories.
To maintain a secure environment, all LMU students, faculty, and staff are required to wear their University ID badge while inside LMU-DCOM buildings. Visitors must check in at the first-floor reception desk to receive a visitor badge.
Tobacco-Free Campus Policy
In alignment with LMU’s commitment to health and wellness, all LMU-DCOM buildings and surrounding grounds are designated tobacco-free zones. Smoking and the use of tobacco products are strictly prohibited inside buildings, around entrances, and anywhere on LMU-DCOM property.

Safety and Security Compliance
LMU-DCOM adheres to the safety policies, procedures, training protocols, and communication standards established by the LMU Campus Police and Security Department, in accordance with LMU-DCOM Policy 130.4 Safety and Security (COCA 4.2).
