No! You can invite as many people as you like. The arena will hold 5000 people and we do not anticipate maxing its capacity.
The COVID environment is ever changing. Currently, on campus, masks are strongly encouraged (as is vaccination), but not required.
Last year LMU instituted a “clear bag policy” like many other stadiums and arenas around the country. Small “wristlet” sized bags are permitted but anything else needs to go into a clear bag.
Yes. Our goal is to put together two days of celebration that you will WANT to attend and remember for years. If you have an exceptional reason that prohibits you from attending, please email Dr. Browne and it will be reviewed by Drs. Browne and Loyke. Please note that diplomas are going to be given out on the stage during the commencement ceremony. If you do not attend for any reason, your name will still appear in the program but will not be read during the ceremony.
During the hooding ceremony you may have up to 2 adults sit with you and accompany you to the stage. We will send out the forms for you to name these individuals in March. While we know you all have more than 2 individuals who have helped you through this journey, we must limit the number due to logistics. It is not required that you have anyone on the floor with you. We are going to ask that other members of the family stand at their seats if they want to stand in support with you. You will be hooded by a DCOM faculty member.
