The Initial Teacher Licensure Undergraduate (ITLU) Program is a significant program at Lincoln Memorial University and has been for more than one hundred years. Throughout its history, LMU has transformed our students into quality teachers and professional educators that continually help improve the teaching profession across the country. When you complete the Initial Teacher Education Undergraduate Program, you'll graduate with mastery of content and the ability to think critically and communicate effectively. You will be able to match teaching strategies to learning styles, appreciate diverse learners, and recognize the unique needs of teaching in multicultural settings. Our teacher education graduates understand the need to establish a caring, secure learning environment for their students and the importance of staying up to date with the needs of our ever-changing society.
