About OPCVM

Situated in Jacksonville, Florida, the Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine at Orange Park is developing an innovative, community-based doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) program to meet the animal and public health needs of the rapidly growing state of Florida and the world. With a commitment to student success, excellence in academic programs and research, and dedication to community engagement, LMU-OPCVM will create new opportunities for individuals and our communities locally and globally. Veterinary medicine continues to be a fulfilling and adaptable career that celebrates the human-animal bond, animal agriculture, and One Health--the nexus of human, animal, and environmental health. Pending accreditation by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, OPCVM anticipates starting the first cohort of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students in June of 2026.
