Appalachian Miles for Smiles Provides Free Dental Care at LMU Mobile dental services

Appalachian Miles for Smiles visited the main campus of Lincoln Memorial University on Thursday, November 12, delivering free dental services to 77. Volunteer dentists and hygienists performed dental exams with x-rays, cleanings, extractions and restorative fillings.

  • LMU to Continue Seated Classes For Spring Semester

    Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) President Clayton Hess announced today the decision to continue seated courses and the on-campus experience for the Spring 2021 semester. Social distancing and enhanced safety practices, including wearing masks, will continue for students, faculty and staff, with limited events and visitors allowed on campus during the spring semester.

    The Lincoln Memorial University chapter of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society was awarded a $500 community service project grant and hosted a Halloween Book or Treat fundraiser to add to the donation total for the library at the newly built Candy’s Creek Cherokee Elementary School in Cleveland, Tennessee.
