LMU School of Business to Host Virtual Open House for Graduate and Professional Programs
The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) School of Business will host a virtual open house from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20. The program will highlight LMU’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programs.
The online info session will be conducted on Zoom with professors, administrators and recruiters presenting information and answering questions about the MBA and DBA programs. Both the MBA and DBA programs have been carefully designed with the working professional in mind and utilize an entirely online format.
The MBA program is offered with concentrations in business analytics, health care administration, general business, management, marketing, nursing home administration, operations management and sport management. Flexibility is a hallmark of the LMU MBA program. Candidates can progress at their own pace and take one course or a full-time load each semester. With an experienced faculty who all boast a wealth or real-world business experience in addition to academic pursuits, the program is student centered with interactive learning classes. The curriculum combines case studies, group work, class discussions and presentations to equip students with all the skills to become a leader in a global business environment.
The DBA program is a 60-credit hour program. Candidates holding an MBA or equivalent degree may qualify to transfer 12 credit hours of completed course work into the program, leaving the student with only 48 credit hours of work to complete. The program aims to provide a doctoral learning opportunity for business professionals in Appalachia and beyond with a focus on advancing business practice in an evolving global economy and enhancing research and critical thinking skills. Course work and lectures will be delivered in an online format.
